AAMEVOL Living is designed to provide non-regulated companionship and lifestyle support. Our Companions do not provide regulated personal care, nursing, clinical treatment or medical services.
We do not directly provide specialist legal, financial, therapeutic or other regulated professional services.
Where requested services fall outside our operational scope, we may decline the request or help coordinate an appropriate independent professional.
Our services are not a substitute for emergency services, clinical care, regulated personal care or other specialist support.
4. Enquiries & Booking Confirmation
Submitting a website enquiry does not automatically create a confirmed booking or guarantee service availability.
Before a booking is confirmed, we may need to:
- Discuss the requested service.
- Assess service suitability.
- Confirm the location and proposed schedule.
- Agree applicable charges.
- Confirm any additional travel or partner costs.
- Obtain relevant consent and service information.
- Issue a booking confirmation or service agreement.
A service booking becomes binding when it is accepted in accordance with the agreed booking process.
5. Assessments & Service Suitability
We may conduct a preliminary assessment to determine whether the requested support is appropriate for our non-regulated service model.
Clients or their authorised representatives should provide accurate information relevant to safe and suitable service delivery.
We may decline or propose changes to a service where it falls outside our scope or cannot reasonably be delivered safely.
If circumstances change, the service arrangement may need to be reviewed.
6. Pricing & Service Charges
Service prices depend on the selected service, location, booking duration, package and any agreed additional arrangements.
We aim to communicate the applicable charges before confirming a booking.
AAMEVOL may offer hourly bookings, recurring arrangements and Peace of Mind packages.
Any minimum booking requirement, where applicable, will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Additional costs may apply for travel, mileage, admission, specialist services and agreed out-of-pocket expenses.
The agreed quotation or booking confirmation should specify whether prices include any applicable VAT.
7. Deposits, Advance Payments & Invoicing
AAMEVOL may require an agreed deposit or initial payment as part of the booking process.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, service charges are payable in advance of the relevant service period or booking.
The amount, due date and purpose of any deposit or advance payment will be explained before payment is requested.
We may postpone services where an agreed payment has not been received, subject to applicable consumer rights and contractual obligations.
Payments should be made through payment methods authorised by AAMEVOL Living.
Any overpayment or credit due to a client will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.
8. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Clients should notify us as early as reasonably possible if they wish to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Any applicable cancellation charges must be clearly disclosed before the booking is confirmed and must comply with consumer law.
Where a booking is made online, by telephone or away from business premises, statutory cancellation rights may apply, including a 14-day cancellation period in qualifying circumstances.
If a client expressly requests that a service begin during an applicable cancellation period, the relevant legal requirements concerning early performance and payment must be followed.
If AAMEVOL cannot deliver an agreed service, we will discuss a suitable replacement, rescheduling or an appropriate refund. A credit note will not replace a refund where the client is legally entitled to receive one.
The exact notice periods, cancellation fees, package refund calculations and any non-refundable third-party commitments must be set out in the approved booking terms before launch.
9. Peace of Mind Packages & Recurring Services
Where AAMEVOL offers prepaid packages or recurring arrangements, the booking confirmation should explain:
- Included service hours or sessions.
- The period during which they may be used.
- Booking and scheduling arrangements.
- Any applicable rollover rules.
- Additional-hour charges.
- Renewal arrangements, if applicable.
- Cancellation and refund conditions.
Recurring arrangements should not renew on undisclosed terms. Clients must receive relevant information about commitments, renewal and termination before entering into the agreement.
10. Travel, Mileage & Additional Expenses
Travel time, mileage and transport costs may be charged separately from standard service hours, depending on the agreed arrangement.
Additional expenses may include:
- Parking and tolls.
- Public transport or taxi fares.
- Admission and activity tickets.
- Accommodation for agreed journeys.
- Specialist partner charges.
- Other pre-agreed expenses.
We will seek to explain foreseeable additional charges before they are incurred.
Any expense requiring client approval should be authorised through the agreed process.
11. AAMEVOL Companions & Scheduling
We aim to provide consistent Companion matching where reasonably practicable, recognising the importance of continuity and familiarity.
However, specific Companion availability cannot always be guaranteed.
We may arrange a suitable alternative Companion where necessary, subject to appropriate communication and service suitability.
Companions are expected to work within agreed duties, safeguarding requirements and professional boundaries.
12. Independent Trusted Partners
Certain specialist lifestyle services may be delivered by independent Trusted Partners.
Examples may include beauty professionals, fitness instructors, tradespeople, specialist chefs, therapists and other independent service providers.
Before a specialist service is arranged, the relevant booking information should explain the identity and contractual role of the provider, the charges and any applicable partner terms.
Where a partner contracts directly with the client, that provider remains responsible for performing its own contractual and professional duties.
Where AAMEVOL contracts to supply a service, its responsibilities cannot be avoided merely by using a subcontractor.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Client Responsibilities
Clients and relevant representatives are expected to:
- Provide accurate information relevant to the service.
- Communicate material changes in support needs.
- Treat Companions and partners respectfully.
- Provide reasonably safe access to the service location.
- Make agreed payments when due.
- Observe agreed booking and cancellation arrangements.
- Avoid requesting activities outside the service scope.
Clients remain responsible for decisions that are outside AAMEVOL’s agreed service obligations, subject to applicable law.
14. Safeguarding, Safety & Emergencies
AAMEVOL aims to maintain appropriate safeguarding procedures and clear reporting arrangements.
We may need to take proportionate action where there are reasonable concerns about abuse, neglect, exploitation or immediate safety.
Confidential information may be shared where there is an appropriate lawful basis and disclosure is necessary and proportionate.
AAMEVOL Living is not an emergency response provider and does not guarantee continuous monitoring unless expressly agreed through an appropriate service arrangement.
In an immediate emergency, call 999 in the UK.
15. Privacy, Confidentiality & Records
We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
Information may be recorded where reasonably necessary for scheduling, service delivery, safeguarding, billing and administration.
Family members do not automatically have unrestricted access to a client’s records.
Please read our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is handled.
16. Changes, Suspension & Ending Services
A service arrangement may need to be changed where circumstances, availability or assessed needs materially change.
We will seek to communicate significant changes and discuss suitable alternatives.
Services may be suspended or ended where there is a legitimate and proportionate reason, subject to the agreement and applicable law.
Any entitlement to a refund or other remedy will be determined by the relevant circumstances, contractual terms and statutory rights.
17. Feedback & Complaints
We welcome feedback and aim to address concerns fairly and promptly.
Complaints may relate to service delivery, scheduling, communication, billing or professional conduct.
Please contact sn@aamevol-living.com with relevant details so the matter can be reviewed.
Making a complaint does not remove or limit your statutory rights.
18. Responsibility & Liability
AAMEVOL is responsible for meeting its contractual obligations and applicable legal duties.
We do not exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits consumer remedies for services not performed with reasonable care and skill or otherwise contrary to applicable law.
Responsibility for a particular incident will depend on the contractual arrangement, the facts and applicable law.
19. Website Use & Intellectual Property
Website content, branding, design, text and other materials may be protected by intellectual property rights.
Visitors may use the website for lawful personal and informational purposes.
Unauthorised commercial reproduction or misuse of protected content is not permitted, except where allowed by law or authorised by the rights holder.
We aim to keep website information accurate, but service availability, prices and descriptions may change. Confirmed contractual information will be provided during the booking process.
20. General Legal Terms
Applicable Law
These terms are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumers have under applicable law.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to Terms
We may update website terms from time to time. Changes to existing contracts are subject to the relevant agreement and applicable law.
